The African Union Commission, through its Department of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI), wishes to inform the African Union Member States, education stakeholders, and all concerned partners and individuals that the event being promoted as the “AU EDUCATION SUMMIT 2025” is not an initiative of the African Union, not is it endorsed, organised or affiliated by the African Union Commission, or any of its departments or organs.

Our attention has also been drawn to an “AU Education Summit Ambassador Application Form” widely circulated via the website: www.aueducationsummit.com ; and link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScYRgGWP2fnnCdejTp-03XdJWG7uHQj....

The African Union Commission categorically states that it has not organized the purported Summit and neither has this form, the website and their contents, been developed, approved, or disseminated by the African Union. The use of the African Union name, logo, or any related institutional references including names and pictures of staff members without authorization is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of AU’s intellectual property and institutional integrity.

We advise all stakeholders, including youth, educators, and prospective applicants, to exercise extreme caution and refrain from sharing personal information or engaging with unauthorized platforms misrepresenting themselves as being associated with the African Union.
