today bid farewell to H.E. Mr. Ronald Micallef, Ambassador of Malta to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, at the AU Headquarters in Addis Ababa.

The Chairperson commended Ambassador Micallef for his steadfast engagement in strengthening relations between the African Union and Malta, noting his commitment to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding.

H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf further acknowledged Ambassador Micallef’s distinguished role in leading Malta’s Africa Desk, where he anchored collaboration efforts in both diplomacy and trade.

On behalf of the African Union, the Chairperson expressed his deep appreciation for Ambassador Micallef’s dedicated service and wished him continued success in his future endeavors.
